Don’t worry, it has happened to me… I got all worked up about getting the ads right, that when it came to removing the actual leads from the social media platforms, I had to stop, and think. So this post is for you, if you are doing that right now.

Plus – a bonus: how to set up your Facebook so that leads automatically get exported to your email automation client.

1a. How to export leads from Facebook Lead Gen Ads

Go to your Page, click on Publishing Tools, in the left hand menu, you’ll see a Forms Library, click on that and there you go!

It’s a good practice to archive the list once you’ve removed the leads from Facebook, just so you know where you are at.

1b. How to export leads from Twitter Lead Gen Ads

Twitter is a little trickier because you don’t go into the results panel as you’d expect.

Click on Creative, select your Lead Gen Card, select the last arrow on the right, the one pointing right.

2. How to automate your lead export from Facebook

If you follow up a lead within 5 minutes, you are 9 times more likely to convert!
