Launch Of Online Course

I’ve put my heart and soul into creating Brightspark Academy and I’m really excited to share it with you. It is launching soon and I’m really looking forward to taking the first group through the training. I’ve distilled everything I know about social media into one online social media training course that will equip you with the knowledge you need to get results from social, save time while you’re at it, and let 2017 be the year that it happens for you!

Why Now?

Two reasons.

1. I found myself having to say ‘no’ to quite a few people earlier in the year.  I don’t like having to do that.  

People were asking me for social media advice and help getting set up. Smart people. Creative talented disciplined people whose businesses are still at the stage where they can’t afford to pay someone else to manage their social. I just didn’t have the time to sit down with each one individually – although I did write a few helpful posts – and this is how I realised that there is a real need out there for an online learning course where people can learn how to do social, and take advantage of my years of experience as I share the tips on how to work fast, effectively and get the results.

2.  This is the moment when social moves out of the typing pool…

We are there. It’s now. And my course is here to show you how.

We all do our own typing now, right?

Not so long ago, this wasn’t the case. There were typing pools filled with people whose jobs were to type things for the people who needed them. You can imagine the delays waiting for stuff to be done. The disconnect. The hierarchy of what gets done, for whom, and when.

I see social media in the same way.  It’s currently in the same position as the typing pool once was; a place where we send things to be done – usually by some poor overworked marketing person, or the intern.  But 2017 and beyond will see social move out of the typing pool, and become just another task that we all look after as part of our normal set of everyday work skills.  I’m already working with a large corporate who sees that coming and who have hired me to bring their entire team up to speed on social.

My course is designed to show you the skills you need to do social: whether it’s how to write a simple tweet, make a video, or propel your message far and wide using the ads platforms.  Remove the uncertainty and get things done.

Social media isn’t rocket science.

Yes, it can be daunting for the uninitiated. Time consuming surely if you aren’t sure of what you’re doing. And I can only imagine how challenging it must be for a newbie to work out even where to begin! That is why I’ve created my course.  It is a practical, proven process (pinging with alliteration!) that will enable business owners, marketing people, and everyone to set realistic goals for social, then get the results, through a systematic process that I have developed and use for my clients over the years.

Some time ago, one of the top tweets at an Image event in which I gave a Social Media Masterclass, was that they wished they could have me beside them for 20 mins at the start of the week to set them straight on what they needed to do with their social media!  Now you can.
