- People are actually talking about it (PTAT not just for Facebook, but for real life!)
The PTAT bit is due to Des Bishop’s thought provoking show, “Under The Influence”. I like the way Bishop has carved out a neat little sociological niche for himself by observing the Irish. He’s very qualified to do so, having lived among us for a couple of decades. His latest show looks at Irish people’s relationship with alcohol. Every episode has made total sense and has caused me to question my own relationship with alcohol…
But I am not alone
The funny thing is that anyone I’ve asked if they’ve watched the show, instead of replying Yes/No, has replied with very personal statements on their take on the message on the show… even those who haven’t watched it, have answered with a No… and that is because it would make me give up my glass of wine in the evening!
Des Bishop is making a good point. He just needs to update his Twitter description…..
